About me:
My name is Michele and I have a BA in business from Miami University in Ohio. I
now live in Florida. I worked in Human Resources for years as a single mom
raising my two sons and a daughter. I met my husband Mike and we married in
December 2007. He encouraged me to follow this dream and to have someplace to
let my inner “creature” out.
The name REAL RASPBERRIES came out of the studies showing the success of crushed
raspberries applied to sunburn. The antioxidants in raspberries have been proven
to help deter melanoma when spread on the skin after sun exposure. This company
was started from a need to find pure products without toxins and chemicals.
Soaking night after night in “salts” that were synthetic was something I began
to worry about as the organic information became more readily available. I tried
to find products that were chemical-free, but bath salts and scrubs were not
easy to find. Even the few I did find didn’t smell as wonderful as I had hoped.
Was it impossible to have really beautiful soaks and scrubs that weren’t going
to poison me slowly?!
Not only was it possible—it’s become a delight! I love finding the right
essential oils and experimenting with the possibilities of ground seeds to use
as exfoliates. I have a passion for pink as you can see and love flowers.
I look forward to sharing these products with you. No chemicals, no toxins,--all
organic and natural. |
